What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Can be due to nerve compression or muscle tear.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The bulging disc between L5-S1 area can cause a mild nerve root compression causing the pain in the area you mentioned. The nerve root compression usually gets relieved by taking oral muscle relaxants, methylcobalamin supplements and adequate hydration.
Psoas spasm or a mild tear in the muscle fibers are also likely possibilities. Acupressure can also help in reliving the nerve compression. It is good that you are feeling much better now. Doing a hot compress in your lower back will also help in relaxing the muscle spasm.
I hope this answers your query.

Acupuncture is better.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Epidural can help if the pain is due to nerve root compression at the level of disc. If you are getting relief by acupuncture then it is best to wait and see its effect. Epidural can give you relief only for few weeks.
Hope my answer is helpful.
