Question: Waiting to get an appt. with a neuro. Got MRI results back from ENT. What does Scattered TW and FLAIR hyperintensities bilateral frontal and parietal periventricular and subcortical white matter which are nonspecific and without mass effect which may represent chronic small vessel ischemic changes, demyelianation or gliosis.

I have gone through your question.

MRI brain findings with white matter changes and some periventricular changes are non specific.
These can be found in hypertension, diabetes, age related, some vitamin deficiency.
Only disease of concern with involvement of periventricular white matter may be multiple sclerosis but with also involvement of corpus callosum.

Your dizziness complain is non specific. You may describe a little more.
Is dizziness episodic or continous
Duration
Nausea and vomiting
Hearing loss
Ear fullness
Walking difficulties
Ear discharge

always ear fullness. i did get an appt for Monday with nero. I was thinking MS bc I had a period with numbness in right arm and hand. they chalked that up to pinched nerves that i have. have some disc problems in neck and lower back too

All numbness are not due to multiple sclerosis and it can be cervical compression to nerve root too.
Ear fullness, with hearing impairment and vertigo may be a manifestation of meniere's disease.
Mri finding are specific in multiple sclerosis so don't worry and wait for your appointment with neurologist.
