Brief Answer:
Limited details available due to no intravenous contrast.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

I will explain it in very simple words to assist you in a better way. Homogenous means the liver tissue texture all over is the same. It says more of a normal liver. Heterogenous means, as compared to the background normal liver texure there is seen a different echogenic mess or lesion that is different. There may be some metastatic lesion that came from somewhere else and residing here in live right lobe. I will not say its a metastatic cancer because I don't have detailed medical records your treating physician have got. Also the history is inconclusive as if you have lost weight, feel cachexic, have hepatitis or not etc etc.

Due to lack of Intravenous contrast, this CAT Scan isn't so conckusive. So I highly recommend you to wait for the MRI report. It will be conclusive enough to relax you. It is a more sophisticated and conclusive, sensitive and specific test to rule out whats going on inside the right lobe of your liver.

Hope I answered all of your queries. Any concerns feel free to contact me. If satisfied, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
