Brief Answer:
Depends upon whether you have symptoms or not.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of cholelithiasis found on MRI.
This means that there are stones in the gall bladder.
If you had previous symptoms like pain in upper abdomen, jaundice or so, this is a matter of concern and you may need a cholecystectomy.

If this is asymptomatic meaning no symptoms related to gall stones this is not serious but can become symptomatic in future, hence it is better to remove the gall bladder when you are optimally fit to undergo anesthesia and surgery.

Can you please post the scanned copy of MRI report.
