What Does My MRI Scan Test Report Indicate?

Question: I have been on this forum trying to express my situation on here and seek help while waiting for an appointment with a neurologist. I had my MRI report that says: impression: Cervical Spondylosis with multilevel disc herniation (posterolateral) at C2/C3, C3/C4, C4/C5 and C5/C6 levels. I will like to know if this is a serious case or something to worry about.

If significant compression and symptoms are present then surgical intervention may be required.
Type of surgery and risk will only be explained by seeing the Mri images.

As for the symptoms, i do have tingling and numbness on both arms. I do have gastritis if thats equivalent to bowel you talked about then my vision is blurry and dizziness when i remove my neck collar. I dont know how to upload the mri pictures on here. But i read osteophytes on all location involved. No signal on the C2/C3, C3/C4, C4/C5 and C5/C6. Could this be managed?

You can take a photo of your Mri report and upload in jpeg format. Also you can take photos of Mri film sequentially and convert it into pdf format to upload.
Yes you do have compression features at cervical spine.
The surgery is possible and would be done at the disc with maximum compression either at one or two levels.
Higher the disc level involved greater is the surgical risk.
Be assured and consult a good neurosurgeon.
Get investigated for rheumatoid arthritis also if you have some joint related issues.

Sorry to say , but these images are not what we require to make a diagnosis. In these images disc is not visualised to make out anything.
Please upload all images in pdf format if possible.
Continue same medications and physiotherapy.

I do not have any medication for now. Can you please prescribe a drug to use please. Sometimes i feel like my left pain affects my vision. I will upload the images in pdf.

If pain is severe then you can take painkillers(aceclofenac 100 or 200) with muscle relaxants.

For images you can take a good picture by camera with 9 or 16 image boxes at a time so as to provide all images of Mri for some advice on MRI.
