What Does My MRI Test Result Indicate?

Question: Can you please advise if there could be a correlation between dizziness and nausea symptoms and the "only" remarkability on exam (physical neuro exam was unremarkable) of note was the the MRI showed a "mild degree of chronic white matter changes"

Hello Dr. Mascarenhas,
Thank you for your prompt response. This is for a family member and I am curious as to physiologically how will the daily marijuana use cause the white matter changes and can you estimate how long (in regards to length of usage) it would take to cause such changes?

Additionally can the white matter changes be directly responsible for the dizziness and nausea symptoms or is that entirely separate?

Q1 . Physiologically how will the daily marijuana use cause the white matter changes
A1 . It causes by Microangiopathy

Q2. Can you estimate how long (in regards to length of usage) it would take to cause such changes?
A2. May take around 3 months

Q3. Additionally can the white matter changes be directly responsible for the dizziness and nausea symptoms or is that entirely separate?
A3. Reduction in Oxygen delivery to White Matter causes White Matter Changes. Reduction in Oxygen delivery to Posterior Fossa causes dizziness and Nausea symptoms

The Common Factor is neurone do not get enough oxygen
