Brief Answer:
Your Widal Test report is not considered Positive for typhoid fever

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Widal Test is not a reliable test for typhoid fever, because of false positivity.

However a four fold rising titre (e.g., from 1:40 to 1:160) in the course of the infection, is considered positive for typhoid fever.

The Widal test is also considered positive if TO antigen titer is more than 1:160 in an active infection, or if TH antigen titer is more than 1:160 in past infection or in immunized persons.

Your test report does not meet any of these figures.

Your Widal report hence is not considered positive for typhoid fever.
