Brief Answer:
Needs differential diagnosis testing

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Thanks for the query.

Do you have any skin lesions that demonstrate Psoriasis?

Any arthritis of the fingers present?

Usually Psoriatic arthritis can be consider with other inflammatory arthritis like Rheumatoid arthritis, Reiters arthritis, Osteoarthritis.

Your Xrays show joint space reduction, periarticular osteopenia/osteoporosis, marginal osteopaths, subchondral cysts.

Usually this picture is seen in Rheumatoid arthritis. Psoriatic arthritis usually presents with distal interphalangeal joint arthritis in the hands, followed by the feet, nail pitting and discoloration and very rare involvement of the knees or ankles.

I advise you to get blood tests like anti CCP, Rheumatoid factor, Complete blood count, biopsy of the skin lesions to look for Psoriasis.

You can start taking DMARD medicines for inflammatory arthritis once your blood reports come back. Apply ice. Keep the limbs elevated.

Kindly reply to my queries for me to be in a better position to help you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
