Brief Answer:
Gum recession, Panoramic x ray required, treatment description required..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain and images attached there is gum recession in the areas you have shown in the images with more bone loss in front teeth and lesser with back teeth..

Teeth can be saved or not depends on the severity of bone loss and other factors for which I would like to know a few more details before I can proceed to advise you about the treatment.

1.Are the teeth loose or mobile?
2.Does the patient has any medical problems or is he on any medications?
3.What is the age and sex of patient, the one mentioned in the question belongs to patient?
4.What all treatment procedures have been done and present what treatment or medication is being taken?
5.Do you have x rays of the teeth, if yes please upload the same..
6.Is there any improvement with the treatments done?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

Brief Answer:
Plaque and tartar accumulation..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your complain yellow turning of teeth is due to plaque and tartar accumulation over teeth that is not cleaned properly and continue to get accumulated leading bacterial overgrowth, yellow appearrence and Infection..

No need to get concerned as it can be removed..

It commonly occurs due to:

1.Poor brushing technique.
2.Rough teeth surface.
3.Dry mouth.
4.Poor oral hygiene etc..

So consult your Dentist, learn proper brushing technique and brush twice a day..
If the teeth are stained scaling can be done by your Dentist..
Use interdental floss to clean in between the teeth..
Always gargle after eating anything..
Eat more of raw foods and fruits like carrots, apples etc as they have cleaning action on teeth..
Drink ample of water..

Hope this information helps..

Answered by Dr. Honey Arora (24 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Upper teeth have lesser bone loss..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your query there is more severe bone loss with lower teeth however upper teeth has comparatively less bone loss..

As far as saving the teeth is concerned, the upper teeth will have a good life if proper maintenance of oral hygiene and care is taken..

But lower teeth has lost sufficient bone, but still will not fall soon and can last for a some years if proper maintenance is done..

I would first of all like to know what all treatments are already done for the teeth so that I can guide you accordingly and more appropriately..

Please revert back with explanations..

no bone grafting only gum grafting
would bone grafting save the upper and lower teeth?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Honey Arora (14 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Less chances of bone regeneration to an appropriate level..

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome back..

As per your query as there is significant bone loss in lower teeth therefore chances of saving teeth using bone grafts is less possible..

And in upper teeth if regular Scalings and other oral hygiene measures are followed then you might not need grafting at all..

I would however also like to know that are the lower teeth stable after splinting or are they still loose..
Are the upper teeth loose or firm?
Does the patient has diabetes or does he smoke?

Please provide details as these information can play an important role in the success of treatment and maintaining teeth further..

Hope this information helps..

Regards.
