What Does My Angiogram Test Report Indicate?
Question: I wanted to have a second opinion on my father's angiogram. Can you let me know how to upload the angiogram video and share it to the doctor.It's an emergency.How good is it to use angispan 2.5 mg tablets for chest pain for a long term.Slight chest pain if walking fast and i if resed the pain goes away.Is it anything to worry.

Hello , I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
The symptoms what you describe of having pain while he walks and subsides on standing is very characteristic of angina , ie pain related to the heart.
Angispan TR doesn't have any complications in long run , it becomes in - effective because of a mechanism called tachyphylaxis. So if may not work in long run .
Now to review the CD the best way is to postal mail it to Dr . Priyank Mody,

Recently serum creatinine levels has increased from 1.28 to 1.32.is this anything to worry.he is using pand,metxl 12.5,angispan 12 .5,ranozex,Evian in morning,ceruvin af in afternoon,angispan in evening,Storvas 40 mg,ranozex in night.does more dose ofstorvas incresae the creatinine levels and increase the kidney damage or can it be ignored.i am very much worried.his cardiologist keeps on increasing the medicines for each small pain. Are these pains normal after angioplasty.is it mandatory to use these heart pain medicines or is the pain a muscle pain or really a heart pain.thecardiologist has asked him to use the medicines for1 month and then comeback.if the pain stil exists should angiogram be done again or not required.does using restyl 0.25 using twice in a week for a year cause any side effects or is it fine

Hello .
1) Both the values of serum Creatinine are pretty much the same and you shouldn't worry about them.
2) No storvas doesn't cause any increase in the S. Creatinine, it is metabolised by liver .
3) Statin at 40 mg would help his heart a lot . So here its risk vs benefit and benefit of higher dose statin is far more, rather we start usually on 80 mg and decrease if required .
But yes it can cause muscle ache . The way to find if any injury to the muscle is happening is getting a serum CPK done , which is a marker for muscle injury. If normal should consider continuing the medicine .
However if significant body ache may decrease the dose
4) No medication you have suggested would increase creatinine
5) The pain if it occurs on walking, a cardiac cause should be ruled out always .
6) Rest to can be taken even on daily basis right now if it helps him cut the anxiety and get good sleep , as it will decrease the pressure on heart and help it recover better .

So can I ignore the increase in creative value since the normal value should be less than 1.3 and his value is 1.32. What could be the reason for increase?sine he doesn't have pain before and now he is having the pain and using the tabs can I be rest assured that there is no problem.whenhe has gas problem also the pain spreads from stomach till the upper part of the lungs.should he use angispan and ranozax for whole life.can he use coq10 tabs for extra energy and digestionhow much time will it take for him to recover and come to normal

2 ) if the symptoms particularly occur when he climbing stairs or exerting heart as the cause of symptoms should be ruled out . For this if he is active and can walk a symptom limited stress stent after 3 months of angioplasty in a well equipped hospital setup is what I will suggest .
3) presently I will suggest not to take Co Q as he is already on many pills and rather adding another who's benefit questionable will add to the gastritis problem .
4 ) Also ranolazine causes gastritis and if heart as the cause of pain is ruled out one should consider slowly tapering it off and omitting .
Lastly as a friend I would request you not to keep on surfing the Internet for your problems as that is adding to unnecessary anxiety which is taking a toll on your health too . Go to a doctor whom you trust and get a XXXXXXX opinion of how to move about in future and what to expect .
