Brief Answer:
Many causes. Not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Mittal.
Thanks for your query.
I think I can help you.
I have read your message.

The levels are not too high and I won't worry about the levels.
Lots of conditions can cause a mild increase.
Some medicines.
Alcohol intake.
even excess spices.
Mild viral fevers.
So I won't suggest you worry.

As of now stick to bland vegetarian diet. Avoid aforementioned causes. And repeat the levels in 2 weeks.

Best of luck.
Dr Mittal.

Thanks I got the blood work done to check for hepatitis and everything good. I had an imaging done and it showed a mild fatty liver which is what i guess wold happen since AST of 82 mild. Can I with proper diet and exercise A) make the mild fatty liver normal B) Can I reduce the AST to normal oh number or range 35 or is it very difficult to do that once a high number has reached and the best I can hope for even with proper diet to kkep i close to 82? Thanks

All other imaging normal

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response.
You need not worry.
Fatty liver is a very common finding.
It won't come down easily.
But slowly if you take care of your diet and exercise, it will respond and can come back to normal.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
