Brief Answer:
Mild anaemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have read all the reports of what you have mentioned.

It seems that you have mild anaemia which is not a worrisome feature and you do not have leukaemia which is cancerous condition where total WBCs are grossly elevated.

Your BN/CR ratio is mildly high and chol/HDL ration is almost normal but I want to know all the lipid profile findings.

Can you send me all the reports of CBC,ESR,renal function tests and lipid profile,so that I can guide you further.

Kindly get back to me with all the reports you did.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
Mild anaemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the follow-up.

I have checked all the test reports from WBC to HbA1C which all are normal except mild anemia and high basophil count.

Here,I would like to know the normal range (for especially basophil count) of the laboratory where you went for blood check up.

For 11 mg% Hb, generally no treatment required as in case of young girls this much of haemoglobin is also considered as a normal. But if you have symptoms of feeling tiredness, fatigue or weakness or mild breathing difficulty then you can start iron tablets (Orofer-Xt) once daily which is available over the counter.

Kindly get back to me with more information.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
Seems to be normal variant.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Thanks for the immediate follow-up.
Your basophil count is slightly high.
Normal basophil count is 0.5 to 2.0 %.

Your basophil count is 2.4 which is slightly high.

It can be normal variation or may be seen in other conditions like ulcerative colitis or myxoedema or rarely chronic myeloid leukemia.

Most probably it is due to normal variation in your case.
So no need to worry.Continue treatment with iron pills and get the test after 3 months course.

Wish you a very good health.

No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the quick follow-up.

As i said earlier,it seems to be normal variation in your case.
So,chances of having leukaemia is extremely rare as your WBCs and other reports are normal.

Therefore,do not worry.

Wishing you a good health.
