Question: I have been found with polymorph's 77%,Lymphocytes 20% & Total RBC 3.36 mil/cu.mm.,PCV 36.3%, MCV 108.0 fl. & MCH 38.4 PG.what is the problem associated with this.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Polymorphs are white blood cell type neutrophils and 77 percent is in the normal range.

2. Lymphocytes are white blood cell type and 20 per cent is in the normal range.

3. Total RBC is red blood cell count is 3.36 mil/cu.mm which is below normal. Normal in males is 4.5 to 5.5 mil/ cu mm

4. PCV is packed cell volume and is 36.3 which is below normal. Normal in males is 40 to 50 percent.

5. MCV is 108 fl and is high. Normal is 83 to 101 fl.

6. MCH is 38.4 which is high. Normal is 27 to 32

7. In the above findings, it is probable that you are having anemia and a peripheral blood smear with iron, folic acid and vitamin B12 level is suggested. Please include food which contains iron, folic acid and vitamin B 12. Please discuss in detail with your doctor.
