What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 10 Feb 2016
Question: Hi, My recent blood test showed an unusually high level of potassium. I'm 63, diabetic, on several meds ( high blood pressure, statin, Metformin, Forxiga, synthroid and antidepressant). I've stopped eating bananas completely. Is there anything else I may be eating or doing which could be contributing to this high reading? Thank you for you help! Happy New year!

Brief Answer:
please upload the report or copy the results...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

potassium levels can be affected by various factors including drugs, endocrinological diseases, renal function, etc. If you'd upload the test results, it would be better for me to approach your case. Also knowing which drugs you use, would be very helpful.

I'll be waiting for your input.
