Question : My blood labs from September to December of 2015 had some serious increases. All not mentioned below are in the normal range.
How through diet, can I get them in line to where they should be ? Does this indicate diabetes or stroke/heart issues or??? Please help. What can I do without medication to get my lifestyle/diet to correct these numbers?
From To Tests
5.4 7.4 Uric Acid
75 246 Triglycerides
102 143 LDL
102 30 HDL
12.8 57 Hemoglobin

Brief Answer:
Please, upload these result for interpretation!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these drastic increases that you have reported. These numbers are really not in line with expected values. For instance, an HDL value of 102 is not real. I will suggest that you upload these results as issued for cross checking. If for sure these are the reported numbers on your documents, I will recommend that we run a new set of tests control before making any meaning interpretation and conclusions based on these results. Follow the instructions below.

I hope to hear from you and promise to respond promptly. Until next, I wish you well.

Brief Answer:
You are not about to have a heart attacke or stroke!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up mail.

Unfortunately, the images have not been uploaded or I cannot see them. Kindly check that you followed the instructions correctly.

These results have nothing(NOTHING) to do with imminent heart attack or stroke. At best, something needs proper explanation. If these numbers are true, then we will need to follow up and address them so as to prevent any risk related to have illnesses from this.

I wish you well and hope you try uploading the images again.

Brief Answer:
Thanks for the reports!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed the reports. As suspected you misread the hemoglobin values of 12.7(not 57). This was way too high and not comparable.

For the other tests, the changes are exactly as reported on the result sheet. 3months is a very short interval for us to observe such high jumps. I will suggest that you go ahead and request that these tests be repeated. Something, especially with cholesterol, LDL and HDL is very wrong. I will not act on these results unless these numbers are again controlled. Please, I can sense something not going as entirely planned.

I hope this helps. Let me know what your immediate thoughts are.

The 12.7 on the hemoglobin is what it was in the Sept lab test. In December it changed to 5.7.

I understand that 3 months is a short time, and that is the concern.

Let's make it a general question then...

How does one, through diet, lower their Triglycerides and LDL? What should I be eating more of to help move these numbers improve??

Brief Answer:
These hemoglobins are different!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

One is hemoglobin A1C for diabetes and the other is hemoglobin for blood cells. You are making a mistake on that.

Diet rich in fruits, vegetables, fibers, low in fats and regular exercise is the best way to go. If you have any weight issues, consider dropping some. 150mins of moderate physical activity is recommended weekly.

I wish you well.
