What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Tue, 12 Jul 2016
Question: My wife recently had blood test of full aarogyam profile from thyrocare. Fro that report, few parameters are found to be abnormal as below:
IRON 48.8 μg/dl (Ref range: 60-180)
TRIGLYCERIDES 266 mg/dl (Ref range: 25-200)
25-OH VITAMIN D (TOTAL) 10.43 ng/ml (Ref range: 30-100)

How to get these parameters back to normal naturally? Will taking Vitamin-D supplements temporarily help?

Brief Answer:
She needs iron and Vit D supplements

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Triglyceride level is fine as they fluctuate on daily basis and even be affected by meal before the night of the test. There is no intervention involved unless the Total cholesterol is high.

For now she has to take Iron and Vit D supplements as the values are low. She has to take them for a minimum of 2 months and get them checked again.

Hope I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Regards,
