I went back to clinic and same results. then I went to lab and and told them what was going on. they were able to check it but said it started to get clumpy but did get it done. the clinic said maybe I should see a hematologist cause it clumped. the lady is just a nurse practioner. do you think this is necessary?

Brief Answer:
Suggest you to get the sample drawn in presence of a hematologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
I understand from your query that your blood is getting clumped or clotted as soon as it is drawn for collection.
In health, the blood sample should not clump or clot immediately after drawing.
It takes couple of minutes before the blood starts to clump or clot.
I suggest you to consult a hematologist as suggested your nurse.
Let the hematologist draw your sample in his / her presence to figure out what the problem is.
If there is excessive clumpiness in blood, few investigations need to be done to know the cause of excessive clumping or clotting of blood.

Thanks na dtake care
