Viral infection of the liver, medicines, chronic problem of the liver, ect

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

There are many causes of low platelets in the blood due to over usage from the liver. The most common can be a liver infection which may be a viral infection (Hepatitis), HIV, a tumor, or other problems that may lead to a chronic liver problem.
Use of some specific medications can lead to that too. So let me know what you are using so I can confirm if they damage the liver.

In my opinion, the next step you should take, is to repeat the Complete blood count to confirm the value of low platelets, and then do the liver functions tests and tests which confirm possible viral infections of the liver.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
