Detailed Answer:
Hi again Dear,
Thanks for follow up.
Its good to hear that colonoscopy is normal. When blood pasing through anal canal is fresh most likely the bleeding is there from lower gastro intestinal tract.
My experience says that upper g.i endoscopy would also turn up to be normal.

For constipation start taking Lactolse 10-30ml once daily at night time.Lactulose is a laxative and makes stool soft.Overstraining while passing stools in a constipated patient causes erosison of the mucosal layer of rectal canal hence causing mild to moderate bleeding.
Pain in lower abdomen is also due to constipation.Once constipation is relieved every thing will settle down.
Sart taking Esomeprazole 40 mg twice daily for gases along with any over the counter probiotic(to improve digstion). Improper digestion leads to fermentation of food which causes excess gas formation.
Your problem is related to constipation which is a indicator of improper digestion.
Treat the root cause other symptoms will settle down by themself.

Regards and good luck XXXXXXX

Thank you, Dr. XXXXXXX .

I think you're right. Problems in the upper GI tract shouldn't be causing pain in the lower abdomen. I'll find out next Tuesday.

Thanks again, XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

When the problem is there in upper G.I tract most of the time bleeding from the anus is in form of black tarry stools and very rarely it's blood from lower G.I. tract.

However, yes, endoscopy and colonoscopy will give you a clearance that there is no major issue involved.

Regards.
