                                            Question : left inguinal lymph node been swollen for 3 yrs. ive had a biopsy done on one it was confirmed swollen but they never told me why. last may i had an abnormal pap and was told to come back in 6 months to repeat same thing happened i was told it was hpv lgsil. i had a coloposcopy yesterday l. ive been test for everything except hsv1 and hsv2 will the results of my last procedure show it if i have it. my doctor me i have the mildest of mildest abnormality or inflammation going on. he said if he calls me this friday then it means i need surgery. does the lymph nodes have anything to do with this. can they actually find hsv1 or 2?I'

HSV1 and HSV2 are diagnosed by blood test ,i.e.Western blot .Lymph nodal enlargement has no relation to these Viral infections.
Please attach the Biopsy report of Lymphnode.As it is present since 3 years,it is of chronic type.
Please do attach PAP SMEAR,COLONOSCOPY reports.

                                    i dont have any reports but my report for my pap says lgsil undetermined significance what does that mean?

LGSIL undetermined shows that there are abnormal cells in PAP SMEAR.
It is not CANCER.
