Question : I m 26 year old, I got double marker test reports today,
My reports are showing 140 ng/ml free bhcg( is'nt it high?) in double marker test, is it safe, what does it mean, is there any risk for down syndrome?
I m attaching reports with it so that you can read it

Conversion factor for 1ng/ml is 0.0212mIU/ml.

So your value of beta hcg is 2.9mIU/ml.

This value is high but as your risk for down syndrome is very low there is no need to worry.

This test is only showed probability not diagnostic tests for chromosomal abnormalities.
