What Does My Echocardiogram Test Reports Indicate?

I recently had an echocardiogram and stress test done after complaining of chest pain by my cardiologist.. He said both tests came back completely fine and normal, but when I got a copy of the echocardiogram it had some things on it that were of some concern to me and wanted to know the significance of the findings from a different doctor. Basically just to tell me if I should be concerned about them. Cause my doctor didn't mention any of this stuff that the report said, he just told me that everything was completely perfect and fine. So here is a list of the abnormalities listed on the echocargiogram:
Left Ventricle:
The left ventricle is normal in size. There is no thrombus. There is borderline concentric left ventricular hypertrophy. The left ventricular ejection fraction is normal. The tissue doppler flow pattern is suggestive of Impaired LV relaxation. The left ventricular wall motion is normal.
and other than the left ventricle stuff it just says a couple other random things:
There is trace mitral regurgitation.
There is mild tricuspid regurgitation.
Trace pulmonic valve insufficiency.
Interpretation Summary:
Clinical correlation is recommended. The left ventricular ejection fraction is normal. The tissue doppler flow pattern is suggestive of impaired LV relaxation.
I've had this chest pain for over two years on and off.. at times kind of feels like there is a rock in my chest and I always kind of have this pinch pain on the left side of my heart. The doctor wants me to get checked for gastrointestinal problems which I plan to do.. But I just wanted to get a second opinion so that I can maybe stop worring about it.
Nothing serious
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
About left ventricular borderline hypertrophy may be caused by
1. if there is borderline arterial hypertension, in this case lifestyle changes should be done to regulate blood pressure
2. if a person do sport or intensive exercise
3. can be individual variation
4. if a person is overweight
Anyway nothing to be concerned, it will cause no harm, if you are overweight I would advise you to lose some weight.
impaired relaxation can be caused by borderline hypertrophy, I would just recommend you to repeat the echo in a year to assess relaxation with tissue doppler.
Trace mitral regurgitation, mild tricuspid regurgitation and trace pulmonary regurgitation are normal findings.
So, overall there is nothing to worry.
Wishing you good health
