Question : Here is my echocardiogram result. I have normal blood pressure, age 65, female.
My echo: Normal LV systolic function with an ejection fraction estimated to be 60%
Mild diastolic dysfunction
Mild asymmetric LVH
Mild mitral and tricuspid regurgitation
Any recommendations regarding the three mild problems, ie exercise, diet, physical therapy, meds? I am following up, but with cardiologists, it will take longer.

Brief Answer:
Continue your current regimen
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
This is a very good echocardiogram. There is no reason to be concerned. I would continue to do what you're doing. The most important things are to control your blood pressure which can do done with exercise, diet, increasing your fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. You can decrease your salt intake also. You do not need any physical therapy.
