What Does My Endoscopy Test Result Indicate?

Question: Sir
A. My Endoscopy result shows Fundic Gastritis
B. My Ultra sound report shows
i.     Pancreas obscured by bowel gas
ii.     Gall bladder distended and show anechoic luminal content ( No wall thickening)
iii.     Left kidney shows mild dilation of renal PCS till proximal ureter (mid & distal ureter could not be traced out)

Please tell me what does it mean. Also tell me the health implications, severity of the situation, treatment and other related things.

You may need repeat ultrasound after proper bowel preparation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Major findings of ultrasound is mild dilatation pelvi-clayceal system(PCS) of left kidney till proximal ureter.Underling cause of dilatation like calculus etc are not mentioned.
Mid and distal ureter is not visualized probably due to excessive bowel gas.

Pancreas is also not seen due to bowel gas.
Gall bladder appears normal.

So,I suggest for repeat ultrasound scan after proper bowel clearance.You may be prescribed bisacodyl for it.This medicine will clear faeces and bowel gas.

Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Endoscopy findings suggest inflammation in antral region of stomach.You may need proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole for it.Further requirement of medicines depend upon biopsy report.

I want to know more about two things which Ultrasound has reported.

I want to know more about MILD DILATION of Renal PCS. How serious it is, what are the main causes and is there anything to worry about it?

Dilatation of PCS may be due to many causes like calculus,stricture etc.

Hello

Pelvi-calyceal system is related to drainage portion of kidney.It is the region of kidney which drains urine to ureter and finally to urinary bladder.From urinary bladder,urine is drained through urethra.

Mild dilatation of P-C system may be due to many causes like calculus,stricture etc.Mild dilatation may also be seen in over hydration.
Since upper ureter is also dilated,it is important to exclude mid ureteric calculus.
Non contrast CT scan is the investigation of choice in such condition.

It is generally not a serious finding.If any cause is detected then it need treatment.

I have been feeling dizzy and weak from day 1.. stomach burning too... today i not only felt very dizzy but i was senseless for a while .. is it normal or something is wrong?
