Brief Answer:
THIS IS NOT PROPER FOLLICULAR MONITORING.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
First let me explain what is follicular monitoring.
It is normally started on day 9 of a cycle, then scans are done every alternate day till the follicle size reaches 18 - 22 mm.
That is when it is likely to rupture.
Then a repeat scan is done to confirm that the follicle ruptured ( ovulation occurred ).
In this manner, atleast 6 - 7 scans are done throughout the fertile period of the cycle to check and track ovulation, thus helping you to target days for possible conception after intercourse.
In your case, you have straightaway mentioned day 18 findings.
Normally, if you have 28 - 30 day cycle, ovulation would occur on day 14 - day 15.
Crenated outlines suggest that the follicle might have ruptured or has already ruptured.
Get a repeat scan done after 48 hours to see the progress.
IDeally, next month, get the monitoring started serially from day 9 every alternate day, that is the correct method.
Just a random scan anytime in the cycle will provide you with no information, and will confuse you.
Emfolic is folic acid which should be taken daily by any woman planning to have a baby, it is essential for good development of the fetus in case you conceive.
How many days cycle do you have ?
ALso, if you have failed to conceive after 1 year of trying, the following should be done -
1. Semen analysis of husband.
2. COmplete blood count, viral markers , AMH, TSH, Lipid Profile, OGTT, FSH, LH - blood tests for you.
3. Proper cycle of follicular monitoring to check for ovulation.
ONce this much is done, please revert with the results of the workup so that I can suggest further line of management.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
NEED MORE INFO FROM THE FOLLICULAR MONITORING

Detailed Answer:
I need to know the complete findings of the scans that were done throughout the month.
Your doctor must certainly have told you whether you have ovulated or not this month.
The scans must have clarified that.
Also, she must have mentioned about today's findings.
I am sorry to say but the follicular monitoring is very incomplete and provides no information.
Your doctor needs to fill in the blanks.
