Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
I am happy to know that your hormonal profile is fine.
During our last interaction I requested you attach the latest hormonal profile with follow up query for my own inspection and interpretation, in order to provide better advice for post menopausal symptoms.
To be specific I wanted to know about following things
1. LH
2. FSH
3. Serum Prolectin and
4. Thyroid profile including T3, T4 and TSH
'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help".
Thanks

Good Morning Dr. XXXXXXX
Thank you for your reply. It is very helpful.
I know my T3, T4 and TSH were done and was told they are fine.
I do not recall LH, FSH, and Serum Prolectin ever done. so I shall endeavour to gently persuade my GP to have them done.
By the way, I am getting my sleep study equipment from the hospital this weekend with a follow up after the hospital has a look at it. Then, it is a question of actually obtaining the result from them. Our doctors here do not like the idea of patients going private or asking for second opinion so their reaction can be quite negative.
Meanwhile please guide me through the following:
1. Are tests 1, 2 and 3 for hormones blood tests?
2. What specifics are you looking for in the sleep study? If I know then I can ensure that all that you require is included.
Just to keep you updated, I have started taking Clopidogrel 75 mg in the the morning and Aspirin in the evening halfway through my evening meal. I am happy to report that the internal bleeding seem to be less.
I have also, started drinking a glass of warm milk with turmeric and ginger after meal which has helped with bruising. Is that okay?

Brief Answer:
Yes they are blood tests
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks again and welcome to Healthcaremagic.
All the three hormone levels are serum tests so blood need to be taken for assessment. It will take around two to five ml of blood for all these tests.
Regarding Sleep study the parameters required for a person with sleep apnea are
1. Total number of hypoapnea and apnea episodes
2. Maximum duration of these episodes
3. Sleep latency and REM latency
4. Sleep efficacy
5. Any abnormal movements
6. Electro encephalogram
7. Oxygen saturation during sleep
I do not think you need to tell them these parameters for sleep study. In every polysomnography machine these are calculated automatically and among them the apnea and hypoapnea score and oxygen saturation are most significant things in regard to sleep apnea.
