What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Question: T2 signal and enlargement of the ulnar nerve as crosses of the elbow joint, nonspecific but potentially posttraumatic particularly given the adjacent subcutaneous edema, and moderate tendinosis of the common flexor and extensor tendons with small partial-thickness tears at the insertions. What does all this mean and what treatment is there for this?

And what could have caused this?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to chronic overuse or inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The findings are suggestive of inflammation of flexor and extensor tendons and small tears with mild enlargement of ulnar nerve. This can happen due to a chronic overuse or tendonitis.
The best way to treat it is to give rest to the forearm and hand muscles. Using a brace will also help. Do not lift anything with the hand. Take mild pain killers and do a hot compress regularly.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
