Question: just want to know what this test result means
Gallbladder/biliary tree/pancreas: Post cholecystectomy. Common duct
diameter of 7 mm. No filling defects identified within the biliary tree.
Normal tapering of the common duct near the ampulla. The main
pancreatic duct measures up to 5 mm within the head (previously 3 mm in
2012) with normal insertion. Tiny T2 hyperintense nonenhancing cystic
lesions within the head of the pancreas (12:38 and 12:46). No enhancing
pancreatic mass. Stable degree of fat stranding along the tail extending
into the root of the mesentery.

Liver: Too small to characterize T2 hyperintensity within the inferior
right lobe (3:29). Geographic areas of signal dropout on opposed phased
imaging consistent with steatosis.

Spleen: Absent.

Adrenal glands: No mass.

Kidneys/collecting systems: No obstructive uropathy. Parapelvic T2
hyperintensity too small to further characterize within the left lower
pole favoring a cyst.

Brief Answer:
MRI findings may suggests mildly dilated main pancreatic duct(MPD).

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

MRI findings may suggests mildly dilated main pancreatic duct(MPD) with fat stranding, this may indicate features of chronic pancreatitis. However,it need few blood tests and clinical correlation. There are two small cysts in the head of pancreas,it may be developmental.

CBD(common bile duct)is also dilated. It is not serious as there is no obstruction.

Liver findings may indicate fatty changes. You may need diet and life style modification. You may need blood tests like liver function test, lipid profile, random blood sugar etc.
It is a reversible condition.

There is also a small left renal cyst.It is generally a developmental finding. It is not serious.

In short, findings are not very serious. However you may need assessment for pancreatitis.

Get well soon.

Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

I had body and tail of the pancreas along with spleen and gallbladder removedin 2012. Are those two cysts just showing as cysts or could they be precancerous or cancerous?
