Question : This is to Dr. XXXXXXX Tayal: I just noticed that in my evaluation I made a typo when I said "I will not begin back exercises . . ." What I had intended to type was I will NOW begin back exercises . . ." (I'll have to be more careful with my fingers on the keyboard as well)

Brief Answer:
Back exercises will help in long term.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
It is best to continue with the back exercises and preferably under the guidance of a physiotherapist for a long term benefit. It will retard further degenerative changes in the spine. Keeping a pillow under the knees while resting will also help.
Hope my answer is helpful.
