Question : I received the results of my urine culture today: Colony count: >100 x E6 cfu/L of Citrobacter koseri

Is this indicative of some other disease?

Thanks for query .

Based on the report of your urine culture you have UTI due to gram negative bacilli called Cytobactrer Kosuri .

Usually they respond well to third generation Cephalosporins and Carbazepam group of antibiotics .However You need to take appropriate antibiotic as per mentioned in culture report .
