What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hi,
I felt a large bulge on the side of the neck and went to do CBC. My WBC is 11.6 (range 4.00-10.0), LYMPH 3.18 (range 0.8-4.00), NEUT 7.45 (range 2.00-7.50),, RBC 4.44 (3.90-5.20), HGB 130 range (120-153),, PLT 287 (range 140-400). I am 35 female, smoke cigarettes, do not drink. About 10 days ago I started sneezing, still have runny nose and dry cough.
I am worried about leukemia or lymphoma.

So the reports are all normal and if the patient feels a bump, then biopsy should be done to reach the diagnosis and early treatment. Lump in neck can occur in lymphoma or leukemia but in this case appears rare though.

Hello dear. The probability of lymphoma rises if it is associated with fever, sweating, weight loss etc. Otherwise , it can be a simple infection. In that case antibiotic will suffice. However, if you are too anxious, get a biopsy test done.
