Question : A lab test has shown that my Iron readings are as follows:
Total 20 L
Binding Capacity 268
% Saturation 7 L
It has been suggested that this is serious, and may be caused by a loss of blood. But there are no signs in the feces. How serious is it? What do I need to correct it?

Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So iron deficiency at your age warrants stool examination and colonoscopy and upper endoscopy to look for the cause. Likely cause include tumor and vascular telanguectasia.

Mny thanks doctor. A colonoscopy exam has now been set for mid November. I will suggest a stool examination to my doctor, and make a reference to upper endoscopy. Kind regards.
