What Does My Lipid Profile Report Indicate?

The NON HDL cholesterol level of 70 is not abnormal
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
In children the total cholesterol below 170 mg/dl, LDL cholesterol less than 110 mg/dl and HDL cholesterol above 35 mg/dl is acceptable and is in normal range.
I would like to know the weight of your child (is she obese?) and if there is any family history of dyslipidemia or cardiovascular diseases as in this case even if earlier report is normal a repeat lipid profile is recommended at around 11 years (3 years after initial report) of age.
The feeling of being hot around upper neck and chest does not suggest any specific disease. That may be a reason your doctor did not refer her to anyone.
Still I would like to do a thyroid profile done as sometimes child may feel generalized hotness or increased sweating.
So don't worry. It would be even better if you attach the reports so that I can analyze it well.
Waiting for your reply.
Regards

she was running around in 2012 at a halloween pumpkin patch and nearly passed couldnt breath. I took her to the hospital and the er dr there said she had syncope.
she has had every test done in 2012 and then someone called child services on us. the case closed-but they didnt believe us. so i prayed and stopped going to dr's. but the past 2 yrs- she still has the same issues. we are afraid to start this circle over again. she needs medical attention. she is so sweet. I thought about going to wrong diagnosis tv. Ive been homeschooling her along with a co-op due to her not being able to run and play long. I can't get a note for PE when it is recess. Im not sure of her fathers side. He isnt in the picture. Thank you for your help, XXXXXXX and Rhianna
If there are repeated episodes, evaluation is needed
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome again
If there are repeated episodes of syncope a thorough evaluation is needed. Syncope can be due to various causes.Although the vasovagal syncope is the most common but it can also be due to cardiac problem or due to low blood pressure and that must be ruled out.
I would suggest you to get her evaluated by a doctor to look into the cause of this syncope.
