
What Does My Lipid Profile Test Result Indicate?

Question : Namaste Doctor .
My Lipid profile test shows I have high Triglecerydies ( 248) and VLDL is 50 . HDL and LDL are normal. Since last 20 days I am having very normal food ( very less oily) . But consuming good amount of Daal. Doing morning walk for 45 min. Is Daal having fat. Should i consume less daal. What is diet chart for the above level of Cholesterol.
I am not taking any medicine for Cholestorel.

Your Triglycerides are high, HDL is good but you should also inform me the Total cholesterol levels.
Low fat diets is a good strategy. Good amount of daal will provide proteins. Daal does not have significant fat rather it has lowest and useful fat.
If you are overweight then consider reducing weight 5% over a year duration.
Do regular exercises and avoid sweets.
