Brief Answer:
I would suggest you go ahead with either of those investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know here I am here to help. The investigation conducted was of the abdomen and not of the lumbar spine region ma'am.

Cysts are a sac or cavity that mostly contain fluid, and are abnormally present in the body. The investigation conducted reports cysts to be found in the pancreas (abdominal organ that lies in the upper left side of the abdomen). The pancreas itself is divided into head, body and tail. The cysts found were seen in the middle (body region) and the tail (tip) of the pancreas.

An abdominal ultrasound or CAT scan was recommended by the technician who conducted the investigation in order to confirm the pancreatic cysts, as either of these investigations would be more specific and provide more details on the confirmation of that diagnosis.

I would suggest you go ahead with a CAT scan or abdominal ultrasound in order to confirm the diagnosis. Once this is done, your doctor can go about management accordingly ma'am.

I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you ma'am. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.
