Question : What is the Nuclear Cardiology Stress Test and what does the procedure entail?
Brief Answer:
It's basically a radiology based test
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir
It's basically a radiology based test in which a radioactive XXXXXXX (safe) is injected in the blood stream.
This test helps to figure out how good is the blood supply to the heart muscles at rest as well as during stress.
It's also used to diagnose coronary artery disease and to assess the structural defects and for cardiac function evaluation.
In this test two sets of images are taken one at rest and one when your heart is pumping fast.
Heart rare can be increased either by physical activity or by giving medication.
I hope this information will answer your query.
Kind Regards
