Brief Answer:
Progesterone is safe

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Vaginal progesterone makes the uterine environment more favourable for the fetus and is given to support the pregnancy.
It is safe for the mother and the fetus.
The collection is most likely the subchorionic collection, which is the blood collection in the membranes around the fetus. It is mostly due to decreased progesterone levels in the body.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
