Question : I had act scan about 2 months ago looking for kidney stones. What they found was small bilateral pleural effusions. I have seen 4 doctors and all have told me that this is nothing to worry about. It means nothing. My primary Dr. Didn't send me for a disk up because he says it isn't needed. Should I stop worrying??

                                    Brief Answer:
the best option for you is to do a follow up digital x-ray of the chest
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to Health care magic,
I am sure your doctor had a reason when he told you not to worry.
But the best option for you is to do a follow up digital x-ray of the chest to see whether it has disappeared or increased.
You can also do a blood ESR test to see whether there is inflammation in the body.
Do you have any loss of weight or appetite?
Regards

No weight loss or loss of appetite. I had an x-ray 2 weeks ago that said my lungs are clear. The last Dr I saw said that they would re absorb and go away on their own.Is this the end of our conversation? It's been over an hour. Why did you ask a follow up question if you don't intend to answer? I didn't expect a rapid response but this is a bit too long.

Great your follow up x-ray was normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for late reply as I was busy with some other professional obligation.
Great your follow up x-ray was normal and you have no loss of weight and appetite.
Obviously it is nothing to worry about as your doctor correctly judged.
Please relax.
