What Does My Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Question: Hello Dr.
My semen analysis report is as follows:
Age:35years;
Days of abstinence=4days;
Color: Greyish white;
Volume: 1 ml;
Viscosity: Viscous;
Liquificatiom time: 40 minutes;
Reaction: Alkaline;
TC of spermatozoa: 80 million / ml;
Motality: (30 minutes) Rapidly progressive=50%; Slowly Progressive=20%; Non Progressive=10%; Immotile=20%
Morphology: Normal=50%; Tail defect=20%;
Head defect=15%; Abnormal=15%
Pus cells: 10-15/HPF;
RBC: 2-5 /HPF;
Epithelial cells: 2-3/HPF

What does my semen report indicates...? How to interpret it...?

Hi,

I understand your concerns about semen analysis.

Your semen analysis is excellent except for minor semen infection.

This is a simple problem and can be treated easily.

Please get semen culture and sensitivity test done to identify the organism causing infection and the antibiotics it is responsive to.
