                                            Question : Hi,I have done my simen analysis result is
Volume 4ml
Sperm concentration 29mil/ml
Morphology 9 percent
Motility
Rapid progress 19 percent
Progressive 20 percent
Non progress 11 percent
Non motile 23 percent
Is the report is normal
I'm worried

                                    But my gynecologist said that this sperm counts are less for normal method of conceiving and asked us to go for iui.But I want natural method of conceiving.she has prescribed me popson tablet and maxoza l.Will my result increase after taking this medicine

A sperm count of 20 millions and above 20 million per ml of semen is considered to be normal sperm count as per WHO .
A count of Minimum 15 % of active motile sperm (Rapid motile sperm) that is important to effect pregnancy .
Since your semen analysis has revealed both values to be above normal acceptable levels there is no reason why you should not impregnate your wife by natural means .
The medications that have been prescribed have empirical value rather than proved therapeutic value.
To be true there are no medications that have been proved scientifically effective to increase sperm count .Following general measure do help to increase sperm count.
1) Practice regular exercise for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.
2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.and Zinc
3) Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday..
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking.
