Question : Hi Doctor,
I am 27 years old, got married a year back, we have been trying to have a baby from past 2 months. During first 3 months of my marriage, my wife got pregnant but suffered a miscarriage and since then we were using condoms (until 2 months back).
I underwent a semen analysis today, I have attached the reports. I am very worried and tensed looking at the results, kindly let me know if there is *ANY POSSIBILITY* of my wife getting pregnant. Also, kindly explain how SEVERE are my problems. We both are very depressed since the time we received the reports.
1. Is there any possibility that my motility will increase and we will be able to conceive normally without any medical procedures ?
2. My Pus cells are 5-6/HPF, how serious is this ?
3. My Epithelial cells are listed as occcasional/HPF ? is this too sever ?
4. Is asthenospermia with delayed liquefaction curable ?
5. My pH is 8.0, is this OK ?
Sorry for asking too many questions ( and some repetitive as well), I am too worried and depressed as of now that I can't wait until tomorrow to meet a doctor.
Kindly let us know your opinion at the earliest, will be very thankful to you.

Brief Answer:
Infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) You have minor infection of semen which is showing as pus cells in semen.
2) This infection has caused delayed liquefaction and also decreased motility.
3) Treating infection will correct this problem.
4) Give semen for culture and sensitivity test and take medicines accordingly to cure the infection.
5) Your wife will be able to conceive. Dont worry.
6) Dont worry about pH and epithelial cells. They will also get corrected.
