Brief Answer:
Report normal. Does not seem to be a cause for concern.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the report. The overall report looks good. The counts and motility are ok and you need not get concerned. A positive fructose is considered normal as in your case and so you need not worry.

Hello Doctor,

Thank you for the answer. I just want to ask the last question that my semen culture report also came and it states that " No pathogenic organism grown after 48 hours of incubation at 37degree Celsius. What does this mean and also, i have read on google that presence of pus cells in semen can damage the sperm.

I am a little bit concerned as my wife has suffered first miscarriage and we do not want to take second chance, so doctor has done all my tests and my wife tests. Even my VDRL, HIV 1&2, HBSAG, ANTI HCV all came negative. Please guide me.

Thanks a lot for your valuable time.

Brief Answer:
Report is fine.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

A pus cell count of 2-3/hpf is acceptable and not a cause for concern. Otherwise you have read correctly that pus cells can damage sperms. The culture report indicates that no infection has been detected.

I understand that you are concerned about the miscarriages. But apparently your semen analysis seems fine and unrelated to the miscarriages.

Regards
