Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Considering the results of his tests ,your husband has underactive thyroid gland (Hypothyroidism). The level of thyroid autoantibodies is very high ,which means the cause of his condition is an autoimmune thyroid disease. In this condition the immune system produces autoantibodies against a component of thyroid tissue. This causes the destruction of thyroid cells and the thyroid gland produces less thyroid hormones (Hypothyroidism).
In this condition T3,T4 are low and TSH is high.
To treat this, his doctor has prescribed him a low dose of Levothyoxine.

Levothyroxine can cause a number of side effects ,as any other drug ,but usually it is very well tolerated.Side effects can result from therapeutic overdosage and included the signs and symptoms of hyperthyroidism. Weight loss, increased appetite, insomnia, anxiety, heat intolerance, diarrhea hypertension, tachycardia.
These side effects can be a problem for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
You don't need to worry. The dose he is taking is very low to cause any side effect.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any question or need any clarification.I would be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
