Question : What does left ovary 2.38*1.05*1.15cm means saying 5 small follicle are found during pelvic ultrasound ?

                                    Brief Answer:
Completely normal report
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I have reviewed the ultrasound report.
The size of the left ovary ( 2.38*1.05*1.15cm ) is completely normal.
It has 5 small follicles, which are normal. Multiple follicles grow in each menstrual cycle and one of them ruptures to release the ovum, rest of them regress over time.
If the number of follicles is less than 12 per ovary, then it is completely normal.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

So there is no problem according to the report?
Since my doctor was of the view that i might have intestine inflammation problem. That is why i need to have the ultrasound done. Should i give you the other report as well which shows internal pictures of my pelvic?

                                    Brief Answer:
Back pain not due to intestinal inflammation
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have reviewed the ultrasound report and pictures, they are completely normal.
Intestinal inflammation can be diagnosed by gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Back pain is unlikely due to intestinal inflammation,it can be due to muscular spasm or neurological problem, for which you should be evaluated by a neurologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
