Brief Answer:
It is likely a hemangioma and requires no treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. A focal iso to hyper echoic lesion in right lobe of liver measuring 2.8 x 2.6 cms is likely to be a hemangioma.

2. Hemangioma is a clump of blood vessels and is a common benign tumor in the liver which is seen in 10 percent of population.

3. Hemangioma can be confirmed by doing CT scan abdomen with contrast. No treatment is required for a hemangioma of size which you are having. However doing ultrasound scan is recommended after 6 months to know if there is any increase in size.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
