Question : I am having lower back pain in my right flank area I had a ultra sound of my kidneys and everything is fine can bladder cancer cause this problem. my dad died of bladder cancer and he complained of the same pain prior to his diagnosis

Hello dear. I have gone through your query. You need not to be afraid. A bladder cancer can only cause flank pain when it obstruct the flow of urine causing backpressure and swelling of kidneys. In your case, kidneys are ok so no need to panic.

I am having trouble sleeping at night time. I can't sleep on my stomach or my right side. If I sit a certain way or twist a certain way I get shooting pain. Could this be a pulled or torn muscle in my back or side?
