Brief Answer:
Sad news; suggest a repeat scan in about 1-2 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. When a scan reports an absent foetal pole, we usually advise a repeat scan in about 1-2 weeks time to confirm the possibility of a missed abortion.
I am sorry to be reporting this to you, but it does seem like you may have suffered another. Please report to your doctor for a repeat scan so we can take this forward. Please feel free to write back to me with any clarifications, and do accept my sincere apologies for the sad news I had to pass forward.
Best wishes.

I need to know what causes such abnormalities, can it be the male sperm?? Is there a slight chance for it not to be a missed abortion? What do i have to do to prevent it from happening again
Brief Answer:
Long process; most likely to be a missed abortion, prevention = treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
In my opinion, the most probable cause for such abnormalities is a deficient or lack in sufficient hormone levels from the females side (i.e. in the female body). The male sperm only helps in fertilisation and development of the foetus. But the sustenance of the foetus all depends on the mother entirely; which in turn depends on the hormone levels and nutrition.
There is only a 5-10% chance this is not a missed abortion, I am sorry
But in your case, the hormones are purely responsible. Were you ever diagnosed with any conditions like polycystic ovaries, ovarian cysts, etc? Please discuss this with your doctor.
As for prevention, the first thing I would say is to stop trying to conceive for now. Check on your hormone levels (including a complete fertility status) will help us to gain insight on what is lacking and/or deficient. Once this is done, observe your menstrual cycle (whether it is regular or not) and work towards correction or regularisation of the menstrual cycle.
Once all this is done, we can start you off on a few pregnancy supporting medications and then you can start trying to conceive and should successfully conceive and go about your pregnancy as well. This is not a one day thing, but a long process of monitoring and continuous treatment requiring a doctors insight and supervision throughout (up until you delver). Please discuss these details with your doctor.
Please also do not hesitate to write to me for any further clarifications or through the entire process of regularisation of your fertility status, conception, and delivery for a second opinion and I shall always virtually be by your side.
Best wishes.

It has been regular up until a few months ago when i missed it for 10days and finally it came, its usually heavy on the 2nd day and light every other day and it lasts for 5days XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
Indicative of some underlying condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi ma'am.
Thank you for that information.
The irregularity could be an indication of either some underlying condition that could have been aggravated and thus started presenting in a manner of showing irregularity in your menstrual cycle, or it could have been the initiation of a new condition.
Either way, I still stand by all the investigations that I mentioned in my previous response in order to avoid such incidents for recurring.
Best wishes.
