Brief Answer:
Post void 23 cc urine is normal and does not require treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through y our query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Post void urine is the amount of urine left in the urinary bladder after passing urine. This is part of ultrasound scan to look for any urinary bladder obstruction or infection when it is suspected.

2. A 23 cc post void urine means that about 4 tea spoons of urine is left after passing urine. This is a small amount and not a serious concern.

3. A post void of 23 cc urine is acceptable under normal situation. It does not require any treatment.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
