What Does My Ultrasound Scan Test Report Indicate?

Question : My Wife is 30 yrs old with our second pregnancy . She has completed 18 weeks 5 days as on today 14.10.2015 and her LMP is 05/06/2015. Unfortunately she lifted the Gas Cylinder weighing 14.2kg(net Weight) to change the new cylinder as no one to help her in home at that time and she had small pain in the right side upper abdomen after few hours. We consulted our doctor and she advised to take a pregnancy scan. We took the scanning today and the report is as follows:-
* Single live active fetus.Breech presentattion at the time of this examination.Liquor adequate.Placenta,posterior wall. Not low lying Grade ( maturity) II. Fetal Heart rate - 159bpm .No obvious congenital anomalies. Cervical length - 3.2 cm. Internal OS is closed. MATERNAL KIDNEY appears normal.

IMPRESSION :
1. Single live intrauterine gestation of 17 weeks 5 day +/-1 week.

Dear Doctor's and experts, request your observation on the above mentioned scanning report considering the issue of lifting weighted object( Gas Cylinder).

Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

I have gone through the details thoroughly. In my opinion, the report seems to be absolutely normal.

There is no effect of lifting gas cylinder (heavy weight) on the baby as per the report.

Pain in right upper abdomen may be due to muscle stretch/pull. This should resolve in 2-3 days. Or she can apply volini gel over the painful area.

In future, she should be careful and avoid lifting such heavy weights.

I wish her healthy pregnancy.
