Question : Hai dr

Am 27 and had a miscarriage on Feb 2016 ,it was blighted ovum,now am again pregnant,please find my attached scan report ,everything is ok but subchorionvc bleed is mentioned,I have doctor appointments tomorrow,what does it mean,please go through my report and suggest what does it mean?

Hi,

I understand your concerns about ultrasound scan report.

I saw the attached report. It shows that there is subchorionic bleed.Meaning there is possibility of abortion.

But good news is that hobby has heart beat and looking good. This rules out possibility of blighted ovum.

In general I expect pregnancy to go on well.

There is small subchorionic bleed which is likely to heal itself.

Small paraendometrial cyst is not a concern.

I don't see any other problem. Your pregnancy is likely to go on well.

Hope you are taking folic acid tablets.
